Although I did not request a day off, I have been given one this weekend. While I am a little disappointed to miss out on a full day's pay I am going to try to enjoy myself. Here are a few of my favorite things I hope to do:
1. sleep in
2. bike ride, maybe with group
3. take nephews hiking
4. clean house
5. cook
6. rest/nap
7. watch daughter's performance
8. spend time with family
9. get in bed early
10. enjoy the time

2012
Here are a few of my favorite happenings in 2012:
1. My son finding a new college that he likes
2. Him doing all the leg work to take care of transferring there
3. taking my daughter and friends to San Antonio for her 16th birthday
4. my daughter passing her AP exam
5. my 25th wedding anniversary
6. the cruise we took to celebrate that!
7. my new weekend job
8. my son getting an apartment and a job
9. running a half marathon
10. my poinsettia plant growing and blooming just in time for Christmas
