My son's 18th birthday was a bittersweet event for me. It turned out to be a nice weekend. Here are a few of my favorite things:
1. nice mexican food dinner with mother in law
2. great steak dinner with parents, nephews and son's girlfriend and her sister
3. shopping for just the right gifts
4. finding the perfect cartoon DVD
5. giving the journal I've kept for 18 years
6. seeing baby pictures my mom gave
7. watching nephews look at the baby pictures
8. baby hat from photos given
9. great great grandfather's hat given
10. his reactions to gifts-priceless!
