I have never read any of the Nancy Drew books. My daughter has been reading them for several years now, so she was thrilled when the new movie came out. We went to see it on Friday. Here are a few of my favorite things:
1. I haven't read the books, so I didn't have any preconceived notions about what should/should not be in the movie
2. fairly innocent overall
3. great role model
4. wholesome and innocent fun
5. strong lead female character
6. fun for my daughter
7. fun with my daughter
8. we rarely go to the movies, so a nice change
9. went on opening day
10. may motivate some girls to read the books
