I don't like pets too much, but I know many kids do, as my daughter does. We have had a variety, some that are good and some not so good. Here are a few of my favorites or think I might like:
1. dog
2. fish
3. turtle
4. rabbit
5. guinea pig
6. hermit crab
7. frog
8. hamster
9. gecko/lizard
10. ferret

Hubby used to have ferrets. They were cute but they are so naughty and high maintenance. And they didn't get along with my cats.
I didn't know how high maintenance they are. I doubt I'd like it. I know my cousin had one for years that she adored, and she had cats too....
