Chinese New Year

Tonight we celebrated Chinese New Year a little early. Our Chinese friend had a family member in town who is leaving tomorrow, so we wanted to celebrate "Reunion Dinner" while we were all together. Here are a few of my favorite things:

1. all being together

2. the visiting family member getting to celebrate with us

3. holding the new baby

4. fried rice

5. fish

6. stir fry veggies

7. fruits

8. reading our fortunes

9. chocolate covered fortune cookies

10. watching all the kids have fun playing together

we had not either-I found them out in the valentine's candy section!! they are much better than the regular type!
