My son is fourteen and he has still allowed me to read some books with him. I enjoy these fleeting moments we have together. Here are a few of my favorite things:
1. spending some quiet time together

3. talking about the books we read
4. not many moms are lucky enough to have a teen who will listen to a story/book
5. the feeling that he hasn't completely outgrown me yet
6. a kind of tie together
7. learning through the things we read
8. learning more about my son by discussing the reading
