I have been teaching children's bible classes off and on over the years since I was in college. Even though it can be draining, here are a few of my favorite things about teaching children's bible classes:
1. seeing the kids learn
2. learning things myself
3. hearing children's singing
4. hearing children's laughter
5. hearing what they think about the lessons
6. hearing what they already "know" about the lesson
7. playing games
8. seeing a kid have an "aha" moment
9. teaching the kids about Jesus
10. I always feel better afterwards
