We have been having some work done on our house. I remember having our kitchen remodeled two years ago. In the midst of it, it doesn't always feel so nice, but I have to remind myself of a few of the good parts about having it done:
1. it is falling down around us
2. no more rotten wood siding
3. it just looks nicer
4. raises the value of the house
5. no more letters from the home owner's association
6. get a chance to clean some things out
7. rearranging sometimes is a good thing
8. it feels better when you are done
9. my kids learn some useful life skills
10. when it's all done it looks great
